Sketchbook entry

I can't put my finger on it, but there's SOMETHING that I like about this sketch. This is one of about 50 from my sketchbook so far... and I'm still about 50 behind where I should be at this point. fml.

This is just some of the in class drawings I did today in my figure drawing class. Figure I should maybe do better on keeping this thing updated. Sorry they're just photographs.

I've been taking a figure drawing class this semester, it's easily my favorite class that I've taken so far. This is a nude I drew today in charcoal. I'm pretty happy with how things have worked out so far.

Painter.

Soooo, it's been forever since I've posted anything here. It's cause for christmas I got an sweet new computer, but can't hook my scanner up to it. BUT, a good friend in my drawing class told me that I can get Corel Painter for free for being a student. So I can post some things that I do digitally now. Here's my first attempt at digital painting... only with the chalk tool. Digital Chalking.

A lot of these are already posted on Facebook, but it's been so long since I've added to this site that I thought I would get it up to speed. There's a couple that were never put on FB at least. P.S. I need to figure out why my new computer doesn't like my scanner. These photos just aren't cutting it for me.

I feel better now that I took that huge art dump. These aren't in any real order... because they were just dumped here. Oh, and also thanks to my friend Wrenn for sending me this sketchbook, it fits in my back pocket and I take it everywhere.
